We are a local post focused on fellowship, support, and keeping the American Legion mission active in Kennett and Southeast Missouri.
Samuel T. Adams Post 66 serves veterans and families across Kennett, Missouri, with a legacy rooted in service, patriotism, and community leadership.
Neighbors from every branch carrying forward Legion values in the Bootheel.
We sponsor two scholarships each year and support students attending Boys State and Girls State.

Everything we do fits into a few focused efforts. We keep them small so we can act quickly when a veteran or family calls.
We help preserve and maintain veteran memorial spaces across Kennett and Dunklin County.
Flags, ceremonies, and community outreach that remember sacrifice and celebrate patriotism.
Scholarships and civic education that pass American Legion service values to the next generation.
Gatherings & Outreach
Guests are always welcome—bring a fellow veteran, a family member, or someone curious about the American Legion mission.

Membership
Join at the pace that works for you. Some members attend every meeting, others help with one or two projects a year—we're grateful either way.
Bring your DD214 showing proof of military service.
